Job Openings at Starlight Programs & Muskingum Starlight Industries

THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE MUSKINGUM COUNTY STARLIGHT PROGRAMS

Registered Nurse - A 12 month position under the supervision of the Superintendent; provides assessment, consultative, and direct nursing services to and on behalf of individuals enrolled in the Program; provides first aid in response to consumer injuries, and staff training in first aid, CPR, communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, universal precautions, delegated nursing, and other health related topics. Required qualifications include holding/maintaining a valid Ohio Registered Nurse License, holding/maintaining a current, valid driver's license, maintaining insurability with automobile insurance carriers and acquiring/maintaining Board approved first aid and CPR Instructor's Certification.

Intervention Specialist (K-12) - 9 month position teaching individuals in a multiple disabilities classroom. Individual shall have an Intervention Specialist (K-12) certification from ODE. Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.

Transportation Assistant - 12 month position working 20 hours per week. Responsible for working with individuals with developmental disabilities by assisting the bus driver in transporting passengers. Applicant must have a high school degree with previous paid work experience and/or training preferred. Not eligible for health insurance benefit.
