Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is offering FREE trainings around the Major Unusual Incident (MUI) rule that will better assist you with serving individuals with disabilities. These trainings are in webinar format so you can complete them from the comfort of you own home and/or business at the listed times. Also, the County Board will be offering space to all providers who would like to come in our office at 655 Zane Street, Zanesville and complete the webinar training here. The MUI Coordinator, Kathy Shesky along with other Service Coordinators and representatives from the Board will be present and working along side you during these trainings. The second best part of these trainings (following the fact that they are free) is that you will receive Continuing Professional Development Credits and satisfy the annual MUI and Rights Training requirements for independent and agency providers.
We are pleased to announce some FREE training opportunities for the first part of 2017. Based on your feedback, we included more webinars in a variety of health and safety topics in addition to the rule requirement trainings. Sexual Assault Response Teams, Falls Prevention, Crime Victims Rights and Resources are just a few of the offerings. We will also have Report Writing and Civil and Criminal classes too. We are fortunate to partner with so many amazing organizations, including many providers and County Boards, to bring these free trainings to you.
