Successful Job Placement
The Times Recorder recently contacted us about wanting to do a story for Disability Employment Awareness Month. We reached out to our employment team and without hesitation they recommended for the story to be on Aaron who was recently hired by the Zanesville Police Department. After several phone calls back and forth to Aaron and his family, the police department and the Times Recorder we finally scheduled for a time to go to the station and interview Aaron and his mother, Police Chief Tony Coury, his job coach and Sheila from our employment team. Aaron is an amazing young man with many skills. He does not let the fact that he is blind stop him from reaching his goals. Chief Coury said it perfect, “we did not hire Aaron because he has a disability, we hired him because he has skills”.
