Our recent Community Resource Fair was a huge success! Over 200 individuals with developmental disabilities along with their families and providers attended the event. The County Board provided a scavenger hunt theme which encouraged the individuals to go around and meet with our community partners. Once they were able to find all of the resources they turned in their papers for a prize. It was a great day to meet new people and discover many wonderful programs and organizations within Muskingum County. People were able to find resources and ways to get connected. A BIG thank you goes out to all of these community partners - Muskingum County Library, SEAT, Carr Center, Genesis Volunteer Program, Coler LTC, Urban Greens, Breaking Free Riding Therapy, Caring Hearts Ministries, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, The Animal Shelter, United Way, Muskingum Recreation Center, Ohio State Parks, Camp Nuhop, Camp Echoing Hills, Continuing Healthcare Volunteer Program, Miracle League, FANS, Historical Society, Zane Trace Players, Big Brother / Big Sisters and Special Olympics.
