We were very fortunate yesterday to have a couple special guests from Cuyahoga County come and facilitate a training on how to Create and Maintain Successful Employment Collaboratives. Jared Daly and Chris Carpenter from the Cuyahoga County Board of DD - Employer Engagement Services Department and members of the highly successful Employment Collaborative of Cuyahoga County presented valuable information along with some expert tricks and tips for person-centered job matching during this “How To” training. It was also a great opportunity to network and connect with employment professionals while applying what you learned. They demonstrated how a “Dual Customer Model” benefits both job seekers and businesses.
We are very proud of our Employment Team and all of the success they are having with helping individuals get connected and obtaining employment. This also goes for everyone who is planting seeds and trying creative ways to help educate the community about the benefits of connecting with people with disabilities through employment or other means. True collaboration is happening in Muskingum County and real outcomes are making dreams come true. We need everyone to keep striving forward. Keep the momentum going, it’s awesome!
