Employment Navigation

Vance and Shelly and Sands - Employment Navigation
The Muskingum County Board of DD understands that looking for a job is a big step for people and their families. It is exciting and scary, and too often, confusing! Different agencies can all work together to help the person on their path to employment. This can cause even more confusion trying to figure out “agency speak”. The Employment Navigation department acts as the tour guide and translator to help people move smoothly through the process. We focus on competitive, integrated employment, and believe that every person has gifts and talents to share in their communities. In addition, employment classes are offered to help people discover their interests and learn about jobs.
