Position: Registered Nurse

Using clinical knowledge and judgment, the Program Registered Nurse provides direct nursing services, health care and health education to staff, students, home providers, and people served by the county board.

Maintains Nursing Quality Assessment Review process for those Individuals who are required to have every 3 years. RN will make recommendations to home providers and SSAs pertaining to the NQAR.  RN will develop reports and review Plan of Corrections for each review. RN will work with Providers and SSAs at any time as a consultant for Medication Administration services in the home.

 

Provides direct and consultative health related services and serves as a liaison between staff, families, the community and health care providers to advocate for health care and a healthy environment on behalf of staff, students and people served by the county board.

 

Has a pivotal role in providing expertise and oversight for the provision of health services and promotion of health education.

Position: SSA

A specialized position in the field of developmental disabilities. This position coordinates and performs service coordination duties for persons with developmental disabilities and ensures services comply with applicable requirements for waiver and non-waiver services. Determines eligibility, completes assessments and evaluations to assist in developing Individual Service Plans (ISP), and facilitates ISP meetings. Acts as a liaison with people with developmental disabilities, their families, and various agencies. Coordinates resources across agency and professional lines to develop and attain needed or desired outcomes for individuals and their families. Strives for individual and family participation to maximize the quality of life for the individual served in the least-restrictive manner.

Position: Bus Driver

Operates school bus to safely transport children and adults with developmental disabilities to and from school, workshop and other locations. The employee typically works a regularly assigned schedule and route, although the route and schedule may be changed at any time, with or without prior notice, to meet the needs and operations of the agency. This is a 9 Month (183 Days) Part-Time position.

Position: Preschool Intervention Specialist

A 9 Month teaching position responsible for planning and implementing appropriate activities and lesson plans for pre-school students learning gross and fine motor skills and cognitive, social, adaptive behavior, and communication development. Provides instruction and direct support to help students achieve personal needs including cleanliness, hygiene, toileting, and feeding in a warm and caring environment conducive to learning. Applicant must have at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and Intervention Specialist (P-3) certification. Paid work experience with children with developmental disabilities is preferred. 

Position: School Age Intervention Specialist

A 9 Month teaching position responsible for educating students in a multiple disabilities classroom. Responsible for evaluating and determining student needs and creating Individual Education Plans designed to help students accomplish personal, vocational, educational, developmental, and social skills with an emphasis on self-help and independence. Attends to, and supports student’s daily living and hygiene needs. Applicant must have at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and Intervention Specialist (K-12) certification. Paid work experience with children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
